Inside Trump’s Operation: 12 Bunker Busters

U.S. Destroys Iran’s Fordow Nuclear Site with Massive Bombs

President Donald Trump ordered a major strike on Iran’s Fordow nuclear complex using twelve 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bombs, delivered by B-2 stealth bombers. “Trump officials told me that Fordow was ‘gone,’” said Fox News host Sean Hannity, who first revealed the attack. A U.S. military source confirmed the mission, saying Fordow had been “taken off the table.”

Precision Strike with Rare, Powerful Weapons

This marked the first combat use of the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, a bomb designed to destroy deep underground bunkers. Dropped from B-2 bombers, it can penetrate up to 200 feet before detonating. The Air Force described it as “precision-guided” and able to “strike tunnels and deeply buried, reinforced bunkers.”

Tomahawk Missiles Hit Additional Sites

Alongside the bunker busters, 30 Tomahawk missiles were launched from submarines 400 miles away, destroying two more nuclear targets. According to Hannity, these attacks were part of a broader campaign to neutralize Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Israel also contributed to the mission by disabling Iranian air defenses and targeting other nuclear sites.

Iran Warns of Retaliation

The strike heightened tensions in the region. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned of “irreparable damage” if the U.S. continued its involvement. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei declared, “any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region.”
