Video Shows Moments Before ICE

Video Release

Federal authorities released body camera and cellphone video showing the

moments before an ICE agent fatally shot Minneapolis resident Renee Nicole Good, 37.

The footage shows her vehicle stopped in a residential street as officers approached.

Good is heard saying, “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad.”

ConfrontationAgents repeatedly ordered the women to move.

An officer demanded, “Get out of the car. Get out of the f—— car,”

while reaching toward the steering wheel.

Moments later, Good backed up, then accelerated forward as shots were fired.

Aftermath and Statements

Good’s vehicle crashed down the street, and she was pronounced dead.

Her wife said, “We stopped to support our neighbors.

We had whistles. They had guns.” Federal officials called the shooting self-defense.

Political Dispute

Democrats disputed that claim.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey wrote,

“It seems clear that Good was trying to leave the scene, not attack an agent.”
