Amber Heard And Jason Momoa Rumor Confirmed
In the sequel, Heard’s time on screen was notably less compared to her presence in the original film.
Leading up to the debut of the second “Aquaman” film, there was a lot of speculation and chatter about the nature of Heard and Momoa’s off-screen relationship.
According to a source from People magazine, the actress is now dedicating herself to motherhood, focusing on her daughter Oonagh, who was born in 2021.
This shift in Heard’s life comes following her legal battles with her former husband, Johnny Depp, a star known for his role in “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
Depp won a defamation lawsuit against Heard in 2022 which stemmed from an op-ed she penned for The Washington Post in 2018, discussing domestic violence.
Throughout the trial, both parties exchanged a series of alarming accusations against each other.
She expressed that she had to fight “really hard to stay in the movie” and noticed that with “newer versions of the script,” her scenes were “taken away,” according to MailOnline.
However, when it was time for Depp’s counterarguments, another explanation was provided regarding why Heard’s screen time was reduced.
He mentioned that there were discussions about possibly recasting Heard’s role due to lack of chemistry with Momoa.
He continued, explaining, “The reality is, it’s not uncommon in movies for two leads to not have chemistry.”
Filmmaker James Wan also shared insights with Entertainment Weekly, stating that the decision for Heard to have a smaller role was part of the original plan for the sequel.
“The second movie was always going to be Arthur and Orm.
Despite the discussions surrounding her role, Heard did make an appearance in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” although her participation was significantly reduced.
