A Challenging Start to Motherhood
Bridget Moynahan, now 52, didn’t expect to become a single mother.
After her 2006 breakup with NFL star Tom Brady, she learned she was three months pregnant.
“I never thought I would raise a child alone,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. A traditionalist, she admitted, “I always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this… it was hard for me to accept.”
At the time, Brady had already begun dating Gisele Bündchen, adding to the emotional difficulty.
“Having a baby should have been the most joyous time of my life, but instead, I felt assaulted,” Moynahan later wrote in her 2019 book Our Shoes, Our Selves.

Raising Jack in the Public Eye
Despite the media frenzy, Moynahan embraced motherhood.
Her son, Jack, was born in 2007, and she soon realized being a mom fulfilled her more than acting or modeling.
“I have become that mother I used to dread. Every time he does something, you think he’s a genius. He’s a genius,” she joked.
Finding Love Again
Years later, Moynahan found love with businessman Andrew Frankel. Introduced by friends, they wed in a private 2015 ceremony.
Instead of gifts, they asked for donations to charity. Moynahan later expressed her joy, grateful for the new chapter in her life.
A Blended, Loving Family
Today, Moynahan lives a quiet life with Frankel and their blended family, which includes his three sons.
Jack is now 16 and surrounded by love. “My son has two loving parents and an extended family… My son is surrounded by love,” she told More magazine.
Through heartbreak and challenges, Moynahan has shown resilience—and found her happy ending.
