Bidens Consider $30M Tell-All Book Deal Amid Family, Political Tensions

Former President Joe Biden and former First Lady Jill Biden are reportedly considering a $30 million joint book deal.

A key selling point of the deal could be Jill’s personal diary from their time in the White House.

“She could write a very explosive book if she wanted to,” a former White House aide said.

While Jill could potentially secure a solo deal worth $15 million, the joint agreement may require her to address difficult topics—

especially Joe Biden’s mental decline, his poor debate performance against Donald Trump, and his decision to exit the 2024 race. These conditions may delay or complicate negotiations.

The report notes Jill is Biden’s “biggest defender,” and a memoir could give her the chance to shape the family’s legacy.

However, any publisher offering a seven-figure deal would likely expect full transparency. “She would likely be grilled about reports she covered up his decline,” the outlet noted.

Another possible route to landing the deal could involve naming and criticizing Democrats who pressured Biden to step down, such as Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and George Clooney. Jill is also said to hold a grudge against Kamala Harris.

“She’s his grudge-holder for sure… but it’s unlike her to take public swings at specific individuals or lay blame. It’s just not her style. That’s what is going to sell books, though,” a former aide explained.

Finances may also be driving the decision. Hunter Biden reportedly owes around $15 million in legal debt, and the family’s income from speaking engagements has declined.

“Given the financial state that her son is in… they could be forced to think twice about how personal and specific they get in their books,” said a former aide.

Biden’s post-presidency office declined to comment.
