1. Zoë Saldaña — Neytiri
Zoë Saldaña is an American actress of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent. In addition to landing the role of Neytiri, she has been part of the casts of Crossroads, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Star Trek, among other films. However, being cast in James Cameron’s fiction was what gave her career a boost.
2. Sigourney Weaver — Dr. Grace Augustine
Sigourney Weaver made her acting debut in Woody Allen’s famous film Annie Hall. Since then, she has developed her career in numerous productions for over 40 years. Her works include Alien, Ghostbusters, Abduction, among others.
3. Wes Studi — Eytukan
Actor Wes Studi is of American Indian descent, which is no small detail, as he has dedicated himself to playing roles that highlight this heritage. He has worked in The Last of the Mohicans, Geronimo: An American Legend, among other films. In Avatar, his role was that of a tribal leader, representing the values and resistance of the Na’vi.

Due to his performance as the villain in this renowned film, Stephen Lang won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor. His works include Manhunter, Law & Order, Public Enemies, and many others. The actor said about the saga’s return: “I knew there would be sequels very soon. Then shortly after that, I think in 2010, Cameron put his hand on my shoulder and said, ’You’re coming back, you know that.’”
